feeling a big change coming on . . .
Mainly as I'm bored with my website and feeling the urge to mix things up a bit. I'm on the lookout for what the new theme will be ... right now, I'm feeling pretty minimal and liking the idea of stark images with intense visual contrast ... we'll see.
Was hoping a visual theme would reveal itself on my birthday jaunt to Cross Creek. Didn't really happen . . . but it was a magical visit, especially as I was awarded an impromptu tour of the house. Felt it would be rude to take pictures while the docent was talking, so no inside pics ... but the kitchen and front porch were divine!
Thought it would be nice to share some of the outside pics . . . this is the landscape that drew me back to Florida. Sandy roads and palmettos mixed in with the moss laden live oaks - make me swoon with delight!

Christmas Day, we'll be heading west to Louisiana for a family gathering and will be back in Florida on the 29th. Along the way, I'll be staying open to clues, trusting that the next right step will be revealed and just revel in anticipation of wonderful things to come . . .
So for now - sending out best wishes for a joyous holiday season . . . may it be safe and overflowing with good food, family and friends, warmth and light.
