testing testing ...

PLEASE NOTE … the Port Townsend Magpie Talisman workshop has been rescheduled for May 2nd & 3rd.

Well here I am, months since my last post. I’m hoping many of you have followed along my journey over the last few months via my newsletter or Instagram or Facebook … seems that’s where I tend to lurk … but not necessarily in that order.

I’m doing a bit of a test and hoping for some feedback …

My big news is that, with a major dose of encouragement from my dear friend Teresa Verraes who also happens to be the Director of the Port Townsend School of the Arts, I’m getting back into teaching workshops. The first one is January 26th and 27th in Port Townsend, WA at the PT School of the Arts on the amazing campus of Fort Worden State Park. We scheduled it for that weekend to coincide with Dave’s trip to the ALA semi-annual meeting in Seattle.

We’re also going to have a trunk show on the Friday night before the workshop at the School’s downtown gallery, sight of what used to be Artisans on Taylor and later Simon Mace Gallery … a beloved location where I had a long and very successful relationship.

So here’s my question for you …

I’m wanting to do a bit of promotion for the workshop and have put together three different images to post around. I’m thinking of using Instagram and Facebook ads/boosted posts. Which of these do you find most engaging?

#1, Foggy coast; #2 Workshop sample, #3 Lighthouse

I think ultimately I’ll end up using all three, but I want to start with a bang! I’d love to hear what you think. Social media ads have been a challenge for me, but I really want to get the word out and this seems like the most efficient way to do that.

Thanks in advance!

blessings and light … kvk

p.s. I’m also looking for other potential teaching venues … let me know if you’ve got a good one in your area.
