The Strata series continues … I’ve layered super thin strips of metal clay, leaving the irregular edges raw (but smooth) with openings for the chain and gems smeared and a wee bit wonky.

This is an alternate take on a capped crystal … the Capped Raw Ruby Strata pendant, with a raw ruby slice sandwiched between the layers of fine silver, sliding on a sterling silver rolo chain via a pair of chunky jump rings, with a hand forged sterling hook and link clasp.

Chain is 20in long; pendant with jump ring is 1in long.

An indigo dyed linen blessing is woven through a small section of the chain … I associate indigo with ancestral as well as angelic connections. I say a prayer and set my blessing / intention with each wrap around the chain prior to shipping … that the wearer will experience joy and gratitude, health and well-being on a daily basis.
